3D Printed Products

General 3D Printed Item Information

As stated in the listings for my 3D printed items, 3D printed items are never as cosmetically perfect as some other mass-produced items. While I do inspect each item, my items are designed first and foremost to be functional so I will still ship items with small imperfections that do not affect functionality.

Of course I would prefer every item to be visually perfect, that just does not always happen.

I am often asked if I can customize the items I sell and the answer is, maybe. Additional colors are usually fairly easy and doable. Anything beyond that is often not possible without a substantial increase in the price of an object as my time is worth money. If you are interested, ask. The worst thing I will do is say no.

I do not provide a design and/or printing service at this time. Sorry.

One of the great things about 3D printing items is that as I see areas where I could improve on the design I do not have to wait until I sell the other 10,000 I had to have made before I can change the design, I can change it immediately. This allows me to correct any problem areas and provide the best possible product at the time you place your order.

If you find a problem or think of a way the item could be improved, use the Contact button at the top right of the site to send me a message and tell me your idea.

Meshtastic Case 01

Here is a PDF of the assembly instructions. Please note where it talks about not putting much pressure on pressing in the tabs for the top. Also note that your board may be difficult to slide in and seat inside the case, this is normal as I wanted as little wasted space as possible.

It absolutely will fit as long as you have the right board. It is intentionally a very tight fit to make the case as small as possible. There is no need to have a huge shoebox-sized case for a small electronic board, right? 😉

I make sure the board is under the two top tabs and grab the antenna connector with my fingernail, then push down on the back of the board while trying to pull the antenna connector up and out at the same time. With a little practice, you can do this really quickly, trust me, heh. Once your board is in the case you should never have to do this again.
